Mickey Fanella
Managing Director
Mickey is a junior who is double majoring in finance and accounting and is originally from Chicago. He has interned with Martinwolf in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is pursuing a full-time career in finance upon graduation in 2025.
You can always find Mickey at a Bloomberg terminal hard at work. He has a passion for finance and was previously both the VP of new member education and the portfolio manager for the firm.

Jack Mercer
Portfolio Manager
Jack is a sophomore from Akron, Ohio studying finance. Since joining the firm in 2022, he says he has grown both his technical and leadership skills as a senior associate this previous semester.
Jack is also involved on campus as the team lead for Startup Weekend during the fall semester. He is a leader with a passion for entrepreneurship and creativity.

Filip is a current sophomore studying finance & accounting who will be interning at Porte Brown in Chicago as an accounting intern. He previously interned at Northwestern Mutual as a financial advisor.
He oversees the firm’s recruitment process and manages all social media and the website. Filip plans to go into consulting or accounting after graduation and feels as though BSE has taught him “a new way of thinking, applicable to all fields” after going through the new member education process this past semester.
